Welcome to Midsummer Reverie! An unofficial fanzine project centered on the vibrant, tender, and fleeting experiences of womanhood through the canon female and genderbent characters of Haikyuu!! Set against the warmth and transience of summer, this project aims to explore the beauty of our beloved characters’ bonds, dynamics, and friendships as women. At its heart, the zine is both a reimagining and a celebration of womanhood. With Summer being a season of freedom and often relaxation, and Reverie refers to a state of daydreaming or gentle nostalgia, together, the title captures the feeling of looking back on a summer that felt endless—warm sunlight, ocean air, and beautiful moments with people you deeply care about
